AkzoNobel places great emphasis on the sustainability of activities, products and services. In the Decorative Paints business in the UK, this emphasis is being put into practice by our ongoing move towards significantly more sustainable Dulux products and services. An important aspect of this is having the ability to quantify such progress as formulation changes allow the delivery of reduced carbon footprint products and services. This talk will describe the evolution of our Environmental Impact Analyser, the successful benchmarking of this tool against other publically available assessment models and the delivery of Dulux Ecosure and Dulux Ecosense to the UK marketplace offering customers the opportunity to join us on our journey towards greater sustainability.
