The Formulation Science and Technology Group is here to help you with all aspects of product formulation from initial product concept, through the development of prototypes, to market testing and manufacture, across the diverse markets impacted.

In order to help we are in the process of putting together a number of resources related to the science and the technology of formulation.  The first of these is access through your membership of the FSTG to Innovadex which provides a powerful ingredient search for product developers in the chemical and life science industries.  Innovadex returns rich information about available materials, chemistry, supplier details, MSDS, article on usage, etc..  If you want to find out more about Innovadex read the Innovadex-About Us page.  Normally Innovadex only allows people with large industrial organisations to register, but the FSTG has negociated with Innovadex to allow any member of the FSTG to register and be allowed access.

You can also find access to the RSC ChemSpider, which is a chemical structure database providing fast access to over 25 million structures, properties and associated information. By integrating and linking compounds from more than 400 data sources, ChemSpider enables researchers to discover the most comprehensive view of freely available chemical data from a single online search.  It is owned by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Remote access to a number of items from the library of the RSC.

If you are member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and have chosen the Formulation Science and Technology Group as one of your interest group memberships, then you are able to access a growing range of resources through  If you are not then you can join the RSC & FSTG here.

So to log in or to register if you are a member - Login - if you register you will recieve an email with a link to confirm your email address, your membership of the FSTG will then be checked manually (this could take a couple of days) and then you will recieve an email confirmation of your username and your password - please keep this confidential and do not allow others to use your account.  Short video of how to register as an existing FSTG member.
