Oakfield House was built over 100 years ago and is set in 110 acres of award winning zoological gardens.

BY ROAD

The zoo situated just off the A41 in Chester.   Parking is at the Staff and deliveries entrance on Caughall Road, Chester  (Sat Nav:- CH2 1LH).    NOT at the main zoo car park.   You must let the organiser s know if you require a parking space so it can be reserved.

BY RAIL

Easy to reach by train, only a couple of miles from Chester station.

If travelling by taxi please ask for the Chester Zoo, Staff and deliveries entrance on Caughall Road

The zoo bus link leavesChester Station from stop S6 (opposite the station) every 12 minutes from 9.24am from Monday to Saturday.

Return buses to the station leave the Chester Zoo Park and Ride site every 12 minutes Monday to Saturday (last bus leaves 6.12pm)
