CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Abstract submission deadline: 30 May 2013
Abstracts must be submitted electronically to deborah@constableandsmith.com. – using the abstract template (download EcoForm2013 – Abstract Template.doc). No abstracts sent by other means (fax, post, e-mail) will be accepted. Please follow the provided instructions and use the template for abstract submission.
Clearly state the type of presentation i.e. oral, poster or either. Only a limited number of abstracts will be scheduled for both oral presentation and poster session.
The personal data of the presenting author must be filled in the submission form. Each participant may submit up to two abstracts as a presenting author, either an oral and a poster or either.
Abstract preparation
Abstracts should contain a sentence stating the study’s objective, a brief statement of methods, a summary of the results obtained and a statement of the conclusions. Please note that it will not be satisfactory to say ‘the results will be discussed’. Use a short and specific title. Capitalize initial letters of trade names.
Abstracts must be written in English and can not exceed 300 words.
Type your abstract directly into the abstract template (EcoForm2013 – Abstract Template.doc) – limited tables, graphics, figures and images can be included in the abstract.
Topics
Authors should select the topic that is closest to the subject of the abstract. If necessary, the scientific committee is entitled to reallocate the abstract to a different topic. Topics are:
1. Green chemistry and formulations.
2. Formulation of Nano-Biomaterials.
3. Novel processing techniques and their application in formulation.
4. Advancements in the field of bio-fuels.
5. Extraction of compounds relevant to pharmaceutical, chemical, energy and cosmetic industry from natural sources.
5. Environmentally friendly and sustainable approach to formulation.

Once the abstract has been submitted, the presenting author will receive an e-mail message as confirmation of receipt stating the submission reference number. Accepted abstracts submitted for the Meeting will be scheduled in oral presentation and poster session. The Committee reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.
The notification of acceptance, the stating of the final reference number and details of day and time for presentation will be sent by the Secretariat to the presenting author by e-mail by 10 June 2013.
