The RSC Industrial Physical Chemistry Committee and the RSC Formulation Science and Technology Group are very happy to assist students by providing up to 10 travel / accommodation bursaries from their funds. A maximum of 10 student bursaries are available with a maximum of £100 per student.
All forms to be returned to the conference secretariat, deborah@constableandsmith.com, accompanied with an up-to-date cv, an abstract of your research plus a few words of support from their supervisor.
Criteria for Travel Grant for Ecoform 2013
The aim of the travel grant is to assist attendance at Ecoform 2013. It will not cover all costs incurred and the amount awarded will be at the discretion of the review panel with a maximum of £100 per student.
- The bursary can be used to cover accommodation and/or the conference dinner.
- The bursary can be use to cover transport costs.
- The Ecoform 2013 conference registration fee CANNOT be reimbursed.
- Costs relating to food/beverages are NOT covered by the travel bursary. Breakfast should be included in the accommodation rate.
- The application must be supported and countersigned by the academic supervisor, principal investigator, line manager, or other appropriate referee. Please be aware that the review panel may contact your named referee for verification purposes.
- It must be evident within the application that there is a special interest in the subject of Formulation Science and Technology involving green sustainable materials.
- Bursary applications must be received by May 6th 2013. Applications will be reviewed following the closing date. Note that all applicants will be notified of the success of their application within 2 weeks of the closing date.
- Applicants will be expected to participate in the conference, either by an oral or poster presentation.
Once approved the grants will be paid on receipt of original receipts for the travel / accommodation in question and a report describing the benefits of the conference (200 words max). This should be sent to the conference secretariat deborah@constableandsmith.com
- All claims must be made by 1st August 2013. Please be prompt in returning your report and receipts.
Some conditions may be waived at the discretion of the review panel, and applicants are always encouraged to contact the conference secretariat for advice. All awards are made at the discretion of the review panel whose decisions are final and binding.
