Formula X Code of Conduct

The Formulation Science & Technology Group and Other Orgainising Societies

We are dedicated to ensuring that Formula X is both rewarding and enjoyable for all delegates, so we have produced this simple Code of Conduct.

Attendance at Formula X will confirm your agreement to abide by this code, whether you are a delegate, speakers, organiser, exhibitor, sponsor, exhibitor or volunteer.

The organisers will actively monitor and ensure that the code is respecte during Formula X.

We appreciate all attendees help in ensuring that Formula X is a safe and secure environment for everyone.

The Code of Conduct

  1. All attendees will actively contribute to ensure a harassment-free conference experience for everyone.
  2. No harassment or discrimination against anyone on the basis of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.
  3. Harassment of anyone in any form will not be tolerated.
  4. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media.
  5. Photography is only allowed with consideration
    • photography of individuals is only allowed with the permission of the indiviudal
    • photography of posters, slides and other material may only be made for personal use
  6. under no circumstances may material obtained from the conference or the conference website be used for commercial purposes

Violation of the Code

Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

We expect participants to follow these rules at conference and workshop venues and during conference-related social events and travel.
