Particles in Liquids – Abstracts

Abstracts
Abstract submission is now open

We would now like to offer an opportunity to submit posters / papers relevant to particle dispersion in liquid formulation in 3 areas:

  1. Posters – industrial practices and challenges
  2. Posters – particle characterisation equipment supplier
  3. Oral – integrated view of formulation from raw material to formulated product

Authors of successful poster abstracts will be offered the opportunity to present a poster on the topic area. You will also presented a recorded 3 minute presentation during the poster session with you being available to answer both typed chat and oral questions.  We may also run breakout rooms for more detailed questioning on the posters.

Please submit your abstract on this form – Particle dispersion in liquid formulation abstract form.

This should be sent to the conference secretariat pl@formulation.org.uk as soon as possible and at the latest by Friday 11th December.  Abstracts will be accepted on the basis of title relevance to the conference sessions, until no more slots are available.  So please email at least your title now to ensure that your poster has the best chance of being accepted.

Posters:

What does our virtual poster entail:

  • A 3 minute recorded presentation (flash poster)
  • The poster
    • Ideally a standard A0 type poster (PowerPoint any size, pdf less than 2MB) where people can access more information
    • However as the conference is virtual this could be a more detailed PowerPoint type presentation and can include links to supporting resources
  • Before the conference
    • Recording and poster will be uploaded to formulation.org.uk
    • Delegates will sent links to the poster and encouraged to check them out before the conference
  • During the conference
    • Each of the poster presentations will be played
    • With questions encouraged in the typed chat
    • A short time for one or two oral questions
  • We are looking into offering break-out rooms for each equipment poster presenter into which the delegates can choose to join you:
    • Over lunch
    • And immediately after the meeting
    • A bit like a stall at a physical conference where delegates will be encouraged to follow up with more detailed questions about your products
  • We specifically use a normal Zoom meeting, rather than the webinar version
    • So people are also able to contact each other privately during the meeting
    • A bit like chatting to people over the coffee breaks.
  • After the conference
