Dr Satu Lakio works in the field of supercritical fluid.  She received her PhD from University of Helsinki and then moved to Melbourne for a postdoc. She has held several positions in both industry and Academia including in AstraZeneca, Orion Pharma, the University of Helsinki, and University of Eastern Finland.  Currently she is working as Pharmaceutical Development Manager at Nanoform where she utilises supercritical carbon dioxide to produce nanoparticles with improved dissolution profiles.
