Dr Dimitrios Lamprou is a Reader in Pharmaceutical Engineering and Programme Director of MSc Industrial Pharmaceutics at the School of Pharmacy in Queen’s University Belfast. Prior to his current appointments, he was Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutics & Drug Delivery at University of Kent, Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Aug 2012 – Aug 2016) and Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomaterials and Drug Delivery Systems at Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Strathclyde. He was also a visiting Researcher at University of Strathclyde, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Aristotle University. His research interests include Additive Manufacturing via extrusion and 3D printing as well as Electrospinning and obviously microfluidics. It’s my pleasure to invite Dr Lamprou to present his talk on Fabrication and Applications of Microfluidic Devices.
